It's something many of us wonder about at some point. Of course there's no way to know for sure who created God, yet it is a question that Rabbi Stephen Fuchs ponders in his latest book, "Who Created God? And Other Essays." Among the 54 essays that comprise this book, you will learn what happens when the rabbi invites Jesus into the Sukkah, his reaction to encountering his first swastika, and what Rabbi Fuchs feels is an intelligent response to terror. Those are just a few of the engaging topics about which the rabbi shares his insights.
At the end of the book, there is an exclusive and thought-provoking interview with Rabbi Fuchs which no one will want to miss.

Sanibel Island Rabbi Releases Fifth Book
Birmingham, Ala. March 13, 2018: Susan Marie Shuman of SusanWritesPrecise, is pleased to announce the publication of Rabbi Stephen Lewis Fuchs’ latest book, “Who Created God? And Other Essays.”
Similar in format to Rabbi Fuchs’ last book, “Why Triple Chai?” the topics in this latest compilation are contemporary and wide-ranging. In addition to pondering the creation of God, areas of particular interest include how the country of Israel has evolved since it became the Jewish homeland in 1948. The rabbi also discusses the intricacies and symbolism of the Jewish wedding ceremony, dealing with terrorism, and his reaction to encountering a swastika in an unlikely setting.
Ms. Shuman explains, “I thought “Why Triple Chai?” would be the final compilation, but Rabbi Fuchs continues to create more and more essays that I feel are of great interest not only to Jews, but to readers everywhere.” Formerly of West Hartford, CT, Rabbi Stephen Fuchs assumed the pulpit at Bat Yam Temple of the Islands in Sanibel Island, FL in September of 2017. He is also a Rabbi Emeritus of Congregation Beth Israel in West Hartford, CT, and former president of the WUPJ.
On October 17, 2017, Rabbi Fuchs was selected as the recipient of Vanderbilt Divinity School's Distinguished Alumnus Award. He is the first Jew in VDS’ history to receive this award.
